This is Dawn and her awesome hubby Andy. Andy and Dawn have been married for 32 years, have two adult daughters and seven grandchildren. Andy is the quiet strength to this team and is an avid league fan. Andy is in full time secular employment which enables Dawn to be a fully committed member of the pastoral team here at Good News Manukau City. He is the one who says "Go for it" and has released Dawn to fulfil her call to the ministry. Dawn completed a Diploma in Biblical studies in 1982 and certificates in Counseling in 1998-1999 which enables her to counsel both Christians and Non-Christians and has been involved in mediation with family conferences/court and draws from personal life experiences. Dawn is a true administrator - making sure the i's are dotted and the t's are crossed. She looks after her own Pastoral responsibilities including Chaplaincy at Middlemore Hospital. With her administration skills, Dawn has been able to help equip others who are involved in church planting as well as being on several Trust Boards and pastoral oversights. Dawn also has a passion to see women reach their potential in God and impact others with the gospel in their peer groups. She is currently a very active member of the NZ A/G Auckland Regional Women's Ministries Vision Team and has a passion to touch, minister and mentor women for ministry. Andy is a great assistant to Dawn. His wisdom and generosity to the work of the Lord makes him a valuable partner in her vision. "What ever your hands find to do, do with all your might" Dawn's personal address is: dawn@goodnews.org.nz
